I’m joining the club….

Yes, I’m posting the very first blog of my life! Thanks – it’s nice to be here!

I love getting on here and reading all about Stacie’s adventures in Nashville, Lori’s thoughts and insights into life, how God is working in Tracie’s life, etc. So, I get this email from Lori the other day about how she had learned of my breakup with my bf on myspace and she said she wanted to cry! Not b/c we had broken up but b/c she, my best friend for life, had found out through the internet instead of hearing it from my mouth. Of course, I cried when I read that email b/c I realized how truly sad that is. But, that’s the reality of the 21st Century – I guess. Life is passing us by so fast that if you want to go with the flow - catch up on the internet.

I hope that through this blog I will truly be able to keep in touch with people! Not that they care about the particular details of my day to day life, but that I will truly be able to express who the real me is. I love to write and when I was in high school I wrote a lot of poetry. I bet none of you knew that, huh? Well, that’s only the surface. I’ve titled my blog “Emotional Garbage” b/c I am such an emotional person and sometimes I feel like it’s garbage that just has to be thrown out there in order for me to let it go.

Maybe you’ll enjoy this and come back periodically to see what’s going on, but if you don’t – that’ fine too!  :)
